Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of the CurlCrew mobile application and the services we provide through it. By creating an account or using CurlCrew, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use CurlCrew.

CurlCrew is also licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, these terms apply to your conduct and to the content you post.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use CurlCrew. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you may use CurlCrew only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may not create an account on behalf of another person, or use an account that has been suspended. One person may not hold more than one active account for the purpose of avoiding a suspension.

Community Standards and Content Moderation

CurlCrew has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You may not post, send, or share content that is:

• Spam or misleading — repetitive promotion, deceptive claims, or fraudulent offers
• Harassment or bullying — targeting, intimidating, or repeatedly contacting a person against their wishes
• Hate speech — attacking or demeaning a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
• Nudity or sexual content — sexually explicit imagery or text, and any sexual content involving a minor
• Violence or threats — graphic violence, or threats of harm against any person
• Self-harm — content that promotes, encourages, or gives instructions for suicide, self-injury, or disordered eating
• Impersonation — presenting yourself as another person, brand, or organisation
• Otherwise unlawful or abusive — anything that breaks the law, infringes someone's rights, or is designed to harm another user

You also may not post content that is not yours to post. Do not share another person's private information, photographs of a person who has not agreed to appear, or material that infringes a copyright or trademark.

Reporting and Blocking

Every user can report any post, comment, reply, or profile from within the app by tapping the flag icon. Every user can block any other user from that user's profile. Blocking is mutual: after a block, neither of you sees the other's posts, comments, or replies anywhere in the app. You can see and undo your blocks under Profile, then Edit Profile, then Blocked Accounts.

CurlCrew also screens captions, comments, replies, profile descriptions, and usernames automatically before storing them. Text that breaks the standards above is rejected at the moment you submit it.

How We Respond to Reports

We review every report within 24 hours. Content that violates these standards is removed. Accounts that violate them repeatedly or severely are suspended. A suspended account cannot post, comment, reply, or interact with other users.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms, and we may remove any content, at our discretion and without prior notice. To appeal a removal or a suspension, email contact@curlcrew.app. We answer appeals at the same address and on the same 24-hour commitment.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and text you post. By posting content to CurlCrew you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute that content inside the app, for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep to meet a legal obligation.

You choose whether each post is private or public at the moment you create it, and you can change that afterwards. Private posts are visible only to you. Public posts are visible to other CurlCrew users.

AI Features

CurlCrew uses artificial intelligence to analyse hair routines, generate insights, recommend products, and power the CurlBot assistant. These outputs are informational and are not medical, dermatological, or professional advice. Do not rely on them to diagnose or treat any condition. The Privacy Policy names the providers that process this data.

Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time inside the app, under Profile, then Edit Profile, then Account, then Delete Account. Deletion permanently removes your posts, photos, comments, and saved products, and it cannot be undone. We remove your personal information from our active databases within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if keeping the account open would harm other users.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

CurlCrew is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, and we are not responsible for content posted by other users.

To the extent permitted by law, CurlCrew is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of CurlCrew after a change means you accept the updated terms.
